You Have to Go Through 16 People Before You Find a Relationship Online

This is the biggest time of year for online dating.  And if you’ve been going at it for the past week and STILL haven’t found the person you’re destined to be with, try to be a LITTLE patient.  Here are some results from a new study on online dating.

1.  You have to talk to 16 people before you find a relationship.

2.  You’ll go on dates with an average of four or five people before you find a good one.

3.  It takes an average of three days and 25 messages before people exchange phone numbers.

4.  And you SHOULD be able to bang all of that out and find a relationship in about two months.

Here’s a tip:  One way you could stand out in the crowd on the online dating sites is wearing a BRIGHT color in your main profile picture.  Another study found 72% of men and 56% of women wear a neutral color like black, white, or gray in their picture.

Also, 22% of men wear a suit in one of their pictures.  And 0% of women wear a long-sleeve button down shirt in their main photo.
