Pringles Is Now Selling Flavored Hot Dog Buns, In a Can?

People talk about Christmas in July, but this sounds like April Fools’ Day in July. Only it’s NOT a joke, apparently.

Pringles announced that they’ll be selling FLAVORED HOT DOG BUNS.  The buns will have the flavors of their chips, AND the buns will come in cans. One bun per can.  (???)

They’re called “Pringles Pop Dog Buns,” and they’re a limited-edition line of potato-based hot dog buns infused with three flavors:  Sour Cream & Onion, BBQ, and Honey Mustard.

They won’t be in stores.  They’re only available through Pringles’ online marketplace, OnceYouPopMarket.com.  You have to buy a three-pack of their chips for $7, and you can get three buns for FREE with them.

There will be two “drops”:  One will be TOMORROW, and one will be NEXT Wednesday the 15th, which happens to be National Hot Dog Day.

(If you’re interested, you can find more info, here.  The Food Network tried them, and said, “honestly, they’re not bad.”)
