“Saved By The Bell” Reboot Casts Transgender Actress Josie Totah In Lead Role

The “Saved by the Bell” reboot, starring original cast members Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley, has cast transgender actress Josie Totah in a leading role. Totah will play Lexi, described in press notes as “a beautiful, sharp-tongued cheerleader and the most popular girl at Bayside High” who is both “admired and feared” by her classmates.  The 18-year-old Totah’s credits include NBC’s “Champions” and the Disney Channel’s “Jessie.”  She was most recently seen on Netflix’s “No Good Nick.”

Starz has released the official trailer for the upcoming fifth season of Outlander, its centuries-spanning romantic drama based on Diana Gabaldon’s series of novels. The upcoming 12-episode season finds the Frasers fighting for their family and the home they have forged on Fraser’s Ridge as the American Revolution draws nearer.

Riverdale’s Vanessa Morgan Marries MLB Star Michael Kopech

Riverdale actress Vanessa Morgan married professional baseball player Michael Kopech over the weekend. Morgan, 27, and Kopech, 23, exchanged vows in front of their closest family and friends, including members of the Riverdale cast, during an intimate ceremony at the Historic Walton House in Homestead, Florida. About 40 guests attended, and the bride’s sister’s Celina served as her maid of honor.
