Korn has officially announced the details of their upcoming livestream event titled KORN: MONUMENTAL set to take place Saturday, April 24 at 1:00 p.m. PDT. The concert will broadcast internationally from the set of Stranger Things: The Drive-Into Experience and will highlight classic and fan-favorite tracks from throughout the band’s career.
Evanescence is announcing their upcoming graphic anthology series, Echoes From the Void. The band has teamed up with Incendium’s OPUS imprint for the upcoming release, which will tie in with a pair of songs from the band’s forthcoming album, The Bitter Truth, as well as other material from Evanescence. Echoes From the Void will consist of 48-page deluxe comic books, each featuring two or more story adaptations from the band’s musical catalog.
U2 is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day this year by launching their brand new “U2: The Virtual Road” streaming concert series on their official YouTube Channel. The series will feature four concerts that will be broadcast for the first time and will be available to view for just 48 hours. Three of the shows– Slane, Red Rocks, and Mexico– have never been available digitally.
Eddie Van Halen’s son Wolfgang says he was ‘hurt’ by the Grammy Awards tribute to his late father. During the In Memoriam segment of Sunday’s Grammy Award ceremony, Eddie appeared briefly on screen while extended tributes were paid to Little Richard, Kenny Rogers, John Prine, Gerry Marsden and others who died in 2020. Wolfgang said that he expected a larger tribute for his father, who died aged 65 from cancer in October.
