Burger King Is Permanently Adding Hot Dogs

Americans eat approximately 70 billion pounds of hot dogs a year.  Don’t fact check that.  So it’s kind of strange that very few of our fast food chains sell them.  But Burger King isn’t going to let that opportunity slip through their greasy fingers anymore.

They just announced they’re adding grilled hot dogs to their menu. They’ll have two types:  A regular one with ketchup, mustard, onions, and relish, and a chili cheese one.   They go on sale February 23rd.  That’s a week from this Tuesday, just twelve, succulent days from now.

And this isn’t a temporary deal, the hot dogs are being PERMANENTLY added to the menu.  The classic one will go for $1.99, and the chili cheese one will be $2.29.

The only hot dog fit for a king. #GrilledDogs‬ coming 2.23.
