Have you ever done something EVIL? If so, was it a one-time thing, or did you get a taste of the dark side, and become a full-on villain? In a new poll, 47% of Americans claim they’ve NEVER done anything they consider “evil.” 20% are “not sure.”
10% say they HAVE, but “only once.” And another 18% say they have, and “more than once.” (Which, let’s be honest, probably isn’t just TWO times.) That includes 23% of men, compared to 13% of women.
They did not define “evil.” They left that up to each person to define for themselves. So, it could be anything from unplugging someone else’s phone charger to plug in your own, to, I don’t know, murder? (???)
The poll also asked: “How many American adults do you think have ever done something you consider to be evil?” And THAT really depends on how generous you are with your definition.
5% said “ALL of them”, 14% said “most of them”, 17% said “about half”, 48% said “some of them”, and 3% of people said “NONE of them.”
So NO ONE in America has done anything evil? I assume those people believe humans aren’t capable of TRUE evil. Which is . . . generous. I also assume those people have never had the pleasure of opening the freezer, and realizing SOMEONE put an EMPTY ice cream carton back in.
