What’s the Most and Least Organized Room in Your Home?

Is keeping your home “organized” the same as keeping it clean?  Or is it more like, “a place for everything, and everything in its place?”

A new poll looked at the most organized rooms in the average home.  Is #1 on the list the tidiest spot in YOUR place?  Here are the top five . . .

1.  The living room.  45% of Americans claim their living room is “very” organized.  Only 4% said it’s a total disaster.

2.  The main bathroom, 44%

3.  The kitchen, 42%

4.  The dining room, 37%

5.  Your bedroom, 33%

Now the other end of the list:  Can you guess what the LEAST organized spot in the average home is?

1.  The garage.  12% said their “garage or shed” is a total mess.

2.  Closets, 9%

3.  The basement, 8%

4.  Other bedrooms, also 8%.  That would include your KID’S bedroom.

5.  Your home office.  6% said it’s a disaster.  Lots of clutter on that desk.

The poll also found, and this is shocking, WOMEN do most of the organizing in the average household.

74% of women said they’re mostly the one who handles it.  42% of men, (many of them liars), claimed THEY actually do.

And if you’re a guy looking for a fight, be sure to mention this last stat:  Women were far more likely to say they actually ENJOY doing it.  23% of women “love” organizing their home, compared to just 16% of men.

Women were also twice as likely to say they “hate” it though.  4% of women, and just 2% of men.
