Sammy Hagar was a guest on Audacy Check In to talk about his new live album, and more. During the chat, Hagar, who turns 78, on October 13, spoke how residencies are extending his career and how he would never announce a “money-grabbing” farewell tour.
After an immensely successful run of shows this past April and May, Sammy Hagar has added more dates to his Best Of All Worlds Residency in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Hagar’s Van Halen celebration will be returning to Dolby Live at Park MGM for two more jaunts, in March and September 2026. The complete itinerary can be found below.

Sammy Hagar remarked, “‘Summer Nights’ was one of the first songs we wrote for the 5150 record, on our very first day in the studio. Eddie played me that guitar riff and I just started singing ‘summer nights and my radio,’ and the rest of the lyrics just came out like a river of consciousness. I don’t think there’s a better theme song for a beautiful summer night, so it had to be the first track this summer from the live album.”
