Here are some random facts for you.
1. The L.A. Dodgers won the (surprisingly epic) 2025 World Series, so that means that for the SIXTH straight year, “Will Smith” has won the World Series.
The Dodgers have won THREE of the last six, in 2020, 2024, and 2025, and Dodgers catcher Will Smith was behind the plate to collect all three.
But there was also a relief pitcher named Will Smith, who bounced around throughout his career, but he won three straight rings, with three DIFFERENT teams: He won with the Atlanta Braves in 2021, then with the Houston Astros in ’22, and with the Texas Rangers in ’23.
2. There are four NFL teams that have won every Super Bowl they’ve played in. The Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are both 2-and-0, and the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints are 1-and-0.
3. Mussolini didn’t actually make Italy’s trains run on time like the legends said. Most of the work on improving their rail system was done before he came to power in 1922.
4. The version of “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory” with Gene Wilder was kind of a bomb, it cost $3 million to make and only made $4 million at the box office in 1971.
5. Banana slugs can have bigger junk than humans. Banana slugs are about six to eight inches long, and believe it or not, when one gets engorged, its JUNK is also six to eight inches long.
