Five Random Facts for Tuesday

Here are some random facts for you.

1.  For the first time in the history of Major League Baseball, the 2025 season began and ended abroad:  Starting in Tokyo and ending in Toronto.  (Sorry Blue Jays fans, you’ll get ’em next time.)

2.  The green computer code in the “Matrix” movies isn’t nonsense.  It’s a bunch of sushi recipes.

3.  Due to the fact that they spend the majority of their lives on sea ice, polar bears are classified as marine mammals, like dolphins, seals, and whales.

4.  The Marshmallow Man from “Ghostbusters” could make 300 million s’mores.

5.   This reminds me of the “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.”

If you click on the first link in the main text of an English Wikipedia article, and then repeat the process for subsequent articles, usually it eventually leads to the Philosophy article.

This was true for 97% of all articles in Wikipedia.  (I tried it with “cheese fries” and “armpit,” and it worked both times.  It took around 20 to 30 clicks.)
