There’s a 21-year-old special needs student named Sammy Lamar who’s finishing high school in Cresson, Pennsylvania this year. And earlier this year, a senior named Karingtin Sklodowski decided she wanted to take him to the prom.
But then some of her friends said THEY wanted to go with him, so she came up with an even better idea, they ALL asked him. They surprised Sammy in the school gym by holding up a sign with big letters that said “Will you go to prom with us?”
Sammy was pretty happy about it, so he said yes, and ended up with THIRTY-SEVEN DATES.
Their prom was this past Saturday, and they all showed up together. Then during the dance, Sammy was voted Prom King. When you roll that deep, you BETTER win prom king.
Sammy graduates June 4th.
