1.  Kurt Cobain picked the name “Smells Like Teen Spirit” because a friend told him he smelled like teen spirit, and he thought it meant he was a revolutionary.  But she meant he LITERALLY smelled like Teen Spirit deodorant.

 

2.  The term “honeymoon” comes from a medieval tradition.  When couples got married, their families would give them a bunch of honey wine to drink for one full, 28-day cycle of the moon.  The wine was supposed to be an aphrodisiac.

 

3.  There are approximately 25 to 50 active serial killers in the U.S. at any given moment.  And a serial killer is defined as someone who’s killed two or more people at different times. 

 

4.  Enya has never gone on tour.  And she’s sold at least 75 million albums. 

 

5.  A guy named John Holahan invented Lucky Charms in 1962, when he decided to see how it tasted to put circus peanuts in his Cheerios.
