Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris recently met up with three of his old Iron Maiden bandmates for the first time in more than four decades. Harris formed the band on Christmas Day 1975, and was pictured with original vocalist Paul Mario Day along with guitarists Dave Sullivan and Terry Rance. The only missing member from the early lineup was drummer Ron ‘Rebel’ Matthews. The picture was taken by Steve ‘Loopy’ Newhouse, and both he and Day uploaded the shot to their Facebook accounts.

All-American Rejects may be back with new music in 2019.  The band have been since their 2012 full-length Kids in the Streets, but there is hope for an album thanks to a New Year’s social media posting from the group.

Robert Plant will make a guest appearance on the upcoming album from legendary producer/musician Nile Rodgers. Nile and Robert first worked together more than 30 years ago in “The Honeydrippers,” alongside Jeff Beck and others.

A social media post from New Year’s Eve suggests that rock legends Motley Crue have some sort of trick up their sleeve for Super Bowl Sunday. The unknown surprise — perhaps related to the upcoming film adaptation of The Dirt — will turn up the same day as the SuperBowl next month.

On New Year’s Eve, Ozzy Osbourne hosted a special New Year’s Eve Ozzfest event at Los Angeles venue “The Forum.”
