Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe have announced two special nights in Atlantic City, N.J., performing February 10-11 at the Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena before kicking off the international leg of their joint The World Tour. The dates will be the first with new Mötley Crüe guitarist John 5 who’s replacing Mick Mars after retiring from the road due to his health.  The bands shared on social media: Just announced: 2 special nights in Atlantic City! Smashing Pumpkins and Interpol are set to headline a new festival to be held Spring 2023. The new three-day event, titled The World Is a Vampire Festival, will take place Mexico City on March 6-9, 2023. Bands including Turnstile, Peter Hook, The Warning, and Deafheaven are also slated to join the lineup for the weekend-long festival.

The Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers ‘Live at the Fillmore (1997)’ box set, taken from their legendary residency at the historic San Francisco venue, is available now in various formats on Warner Records.  The 20-show run at the Fillmore was described by Petty as “the highpoint of our time together as a group.”

Metallica have announced their 12th studio album, ’72 Seasons,’ will drop on April 14th, and are sharing the first single from the LP, titled ‘Lux Æterna’.  The band have also announced the massive M72 World Tour for 2023-2024.

Machine Gun Kelly has shared the title track from his semi-autobiographic 2022 film Taurus. Machine Gun Kelly also serves as co-writer of Taurus alongside Tim Sutton; the film also stars MGK’s fiancé Megan Fox, Maddie Hasson (Malignant) and Scoot McNairy (Narcos: Mexico).
