Tom Petty, Somewhere You Feel Free: The Making of Wildflowers will be released theatrically on October 20 (Tom’s birthday) for a one-night global celebration, with encore screenings in select cinemas on October 21. Elton John and Stevie Wonder released a new collaborative track, “Finish Line,” previewing John’s upcoming album The Lockdown Sessions.
Bob Dylan posted on social media that he will return to the road in November with the Rough and Rowdy Ways tour, a run that will launch Nov. 2 in Milwaukee. The tour takes its name from Dylan’s most recent studio album, and will be Dylan’s first time performing live since December 2019 — his longest break from touring since a stretch from 1981-84.
Bruce Springsteen is set to release a concert film and album regarding his 1979 ‘No Nukes’ concerts with the E Street Band that took place at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The film will be released digitally on Nov. 16, with physical editions also containing the album coming Nov. 19.
Elton John and Charlie Puth have released a new song, “After All,” off Elton’s upcoming album of collaborations, ‘The Lockdown Sessions,’ due out October 22nd. ‘The Lockdown Sessions’ also features collaborations with Dua Lipa, Eddie Vedder, Miley Cyrus, Lil Nas X, Gorillaz, Stevie Wonder, Stevie Nicks, Young Thug, and Nicki Minaj.
