Billy Corgan has started Thirty Day Road Trip across the United States and he’s cataloging his progress on video. Smashing Pumpkins front man promises that there will be new music and interviews along the way. Corgan turns 50 on March 17.

Foreigner Announces 40th Anniversary Tour

To celebrate their 40th anniversary, the band Foreigner is set to start mammoth world wide tour that will feature other talents like Cheap Trick and Jaosn Bonham. The tour is set to start on July 11 in Syracuse, N.Y., with a 40th anniversary album scheduled to release on May 5th.

Ann Wilson of Heart Announces Solo US tour

UltimateClassicRock.com reports that Ann Willson has announced 20, solo, tour dates that will span the United States, in 2017, titled ‘The Ann Willson of Hear Tour’. “The stage is a magical place where I can be beautifully in and out of control, where I can build a fire and then jump into it,” Wilson says in a press release announcing the tour.

Eddie Vedder Performs at Obama’s Farewell Address

Eddie Vedder entertained the crowd at Obama’s Farewell Address with a four song set before Obama took the podium. Vedder started out with an acoustic performance of “Rise,” a song from his Into the Wild soundtrack. Both Obama and Vedder are fellow Chicagoans.

Jon Lovitz Frustrates ​Vince Neil on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’

After nearly coming to fists with Boy George over wine, Vince Neil, of Motley Crew fame, almost lost his cool with Saturday Night Love alum, Jon Luvitz, over a commercial project on the Celebrity Apprentice show. Despite the conflict Luvitz and Neil’s team won the round but it remains to be seen how the pair will work together going forward.
