(Saturday, May 4, 2024) NIGHTS IN THE GARDENS OF SPAIN with the Reno Pops Orchestra and Maestro Jane Brown, 7:00 PM, at the Nightingale Concert Hall Church Fine Arts, UNR, Doors open at 6:30 pm

(May 4th and 5th) Great Basin Scottish Highland Games, hosted by Northern Nevada Throwing Company a 501c Non-Profit. There will be something for all ages; Scottish Athletics, Men’s and Women’s divisions, and a kids area. $10 entry fee and kids 8 and under are free.

(May 11, 2024) Headlock on Hunger, the family-friendly professional wrestling event, is set to return for its seventh year on May 11th at Reed High School. This electric event, aims to raise crucial funds for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada’s fight against child hunger in the Truckee Meadows. (May 11, 2024) Join Moxy Up for their 2nd Annual Let’s Rally Carson Valley 2024 benefit fundraiser at Park Ranch Home Venue, from 3pm-9pm, to raise funds for Children’s Mental Health and Autism services. All proceeds will directly support local youth and families in psychological assessments, skills groups and crisis assessments. (May 12, 2024) Registration is now open for the 24th Annual Moms on the Run 5K Walk and 5k/10k Run! A wonderful event that provides support for everyday living expenses including (but not limited to) mortgages, rent, food, utilities, car expenses, insurance, and more, to help offset medical expenses and alleviate financial stress of Northern Nevada women diagnosed with breast or gynecological cancer.
