Four People Trash a Pizza Place For Putting Cheese on Their Garlic Knots

If you’ve never been to an Italian place that serves garlic knots, they’re glorious little pieces of dough that are tied in knots and covered in olive oil and garlic. So I’m not necessarily excusing what these people did, I’m just saying I get it.

25-year-old Jessica Conti of Palm Coast, Florida went to a pizza place on Friday night and ordered some garlic knots.  She did NOT order parmesan on top, but the employees sprinkled cheese over them anyway.  So Jessica started arguing with them, and demanded her money back.  The cashier DID give her a refund, but he put the money on the counter, which Jessica thought was DISRESPECTFUL.  And that’s when things got ugly.

Three friends of hers busted in and the four of them started TRASHING the place.  They threw food and boxes everywhere, they slammed a glass parmesan container into a TV, and they knocked the register and fax machine off the counter.

The cops say they did about $1,000 in damage.  The employees at the pizza place actually KNEW all of them and identified them, so the cops arrested them at one of their houses a few hours later.

23-year-old Vincent Conti, 26-year-old Hareem Jones, 32-year-old Shawn Cody, and Jessica were all charged with burglary and criminal mischief.
