Well, it’s official, guys aren’t willing to live with MAN BOOBS any more. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons just released their data from 2015. And for the first time ever, more than 40% of the breast reductions were on MEN. Men had 27,456 breast reductions, women had 40,650.
Here are a few more stats to check out:
1. There were 15.9 million cosmetic procedures last year. That’s approximately one for every 16 adults. It’s up from 7.4 million back in 2000.
2. Botox is the most common procedure, by far. Doctors gave more than 6.7 million Botox injections last year.
3. Breast augmentations are the most common surgeries, with 279,000 last year.
4. And the HOTTEST type of plastic surgery is, BUTT IMPLANTS. They were so rare in 2000 that they weren’t even tracked. Last year, 2,540 people had them done.
