There was a wheelchair basketball tournament in Zwickau, Germany this weekend. But it wound up getting cancelled halfway through because 60 fans from two Turkish wheelchair basketball teams started RIOTING. Wow, apparently hooligans in Europe go crazy at ANY type of sporting event, not just soccer.
These guys were going after each other with knives and baseball bats, and seven people went to the hospital.
It’s not clear if any of the fans who were rioting were in wheelchairs, but from the reports it sounds like they weren’t.
The cops have arrested 50 of them so far.
