Pittsburgh Just Put Its Christmas Tree Up, More Than Three Weeks Before Halloween

We just entered October, and yet, you’ve probably seen a Christmas tree up somewhere.  Maybe even in your city’s downtown plaza.

Pittsburgh just put up their downtown Christmas tree, more than TWO MONTHS before the holidays.

That usually triggers plenty of adults who like their holidays to remain within designated timeframes, but even some KIDS have beef with Pittsburgh.

There’s a local news report about the Christmas tree, which was put up in the plaza at an ice rink.  But the ice rink doesn’t even open until November 14th.

They interviewed a young boy named Marcus Woodruff who said, “I’m really excited because we’re going to skate, but I gotta say, they should have waited for Halloween first.”  Amen, kid.

(For what it’s worth, it’s apparently a timing thing.  The tree needs to go in before the ice rink, and that’s a big job that takes a MONTH to do.)
