It’s one thing when criminals put THEIR OWN lives in danger while committing crimes, but don’t bring your pet kitten into it.
Police in Washington state intercepted a stolen vehicle last week, and the 29-year-old man and 23-year-old woman inside RAN from the cops, on foot. The chase didn’t last long, and both were taken into custody.
But the woman came with extra drama. She was found hiding under a pick-up truck, with her PET KITTEN. And she FREAKED when the cops tried to handcuff her, because she was worried about the kitten.
There’s body camera footage of the arrest, where she says, “Dude, can I please get my kitten? I just wanted to keep him safe.” And an officer says, “You call this keeping him safe?”
The cat was uninjured and turned over to the Tacoma Humane Society. The couple was charged with theft, resisting arrest, and other outstanding warrants.
